Flower Power!

For the first time since a week ago, I watched a little TV today. Exactly. That should tell you how my week went. Anyways, the first thing I saw was the end of Bed of Roses...and OMG! I love that movie. "You're supposed to say, Wait, Don't Go...Everything is going to be all right." I just LOVE CHRISTIAN SLATER. I digress. The next movie I saw was Love Happens, a very cute movie starring Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Aninston, about a self help guru getting over the loss of a loved one, because he suffered that himself. And yes, Aninston is the female lead, and yes, they...well, I will spoil the movie if you haven't seen it so its up to you if you want to keep on reading. They fall in love. What intrigued me about this movie is that Jennifer's character owns a flower shop. FLOWERS. How important they are...

I've always loved receiving flowers. Don't they just brighten up your day? Your mood? Your office, home, whatever! Flowers are a Universal sign for "Someone is thinking of you" It doesn't matter who it is...when you receive flowers, you instantly feel...Happy (even if its from crazy stalker exes or an apology for getting you fired, maybe). Some people have favorites: Roses, Lilies, Tulips, Carnations (death to Charlotte York
:-0), or Orchids. Personally, I love Peach and Lilac Roses. But I would never turn down flowers. I think, if I had the ability to do so, I would love to own and operate a flower shop.

Really. Think about it. I'm happy being around flowers...and I'm happy seeing other people happy. Just imagine how wonderful it would be to see someone come in YOUR shop and pick out a lovely bouquet or arrangement to send to someone they love, like, crushing on, celebrating...or even sympathy or I'm sorry flowers.

Maybe it's still possible? I mean, I'm ONLY 30 years of age...its not like I'm...well, I won't say any particular age as to offend anyone, but you know :-) Perhaps when Zavy goes off to college, or if I win the Mega-Million (be aware that this is the first of a million times I will mention winning the Mega-Millions in this blog), or if I marry rich...a girl can dream.

Until then, let's all enjoy the lovely arrangement I have provided for your enjoyment.

Wait, is it unusual that I have received more flowers as a single woman, whose not actively dating, than I did when I was married??? Hmmm...

BTW, Zavy thinks flowers are messy. He'll learn their importance soon enough, or God bless his little heart!

Toodles!
