So,
I'm back with a brand new blog...and a new job, and a new house...but the same old weight, allergies/asthma issues, and same Fabulous broke-ness. Grammer Nazis, don't even start. But this time, something is different. What's different is that I am a different person. I am divorced, I co-parent my six year old with my ex-husband and this is successful, and I turned 30 on August 2nd. I also, for the first time in my working career, seem like I actually have a career. Yep, I'm in Benefits and Payroll, still at the same company, but different department, and I love it. LOVE IT! I am learning all these new things and I'm busy, most of the time, but it was a change I needed.
Zavy is six now and in 1st grade. The transition to first grade went way more smoothly than the transition from pre-k to kindergarten (I still get nightmares thinking of that!). There were days I wanted to punch Zavy, the teacher, the principal and Zavy's dad...I didn't however, want to punch myself, because I just KNEW everything I was doing was right :-) But, we got over it. Or at least they all did...I was still upset on his last day of kindergarten, that it didn't go as smoothly as I had imagined it would be. Oh well...
He is also in flag football...And, well...hmmmm. Let's just say he is a little surprised its not tackle football like he see's on TV on Sundays. Hopefully he sticks with it. I can't force him, I won't actually...because if he doesn't want to do it, that means I save on gas money each week...selfish? Nope...just being practical. And I get 6 more hours to do REAL stuff during the week!
Me, I'm single...yes. I have been dating, it has been interesting...to be continued.
I hope to get on with blogging at least 3x a week, actually...I have too. I have been asked to blog for Working Mother Magazine, which would be great, since I have been reading their magazine since I've been a "working mom" (2005 and on). Now, that would be intersting!
Toodles...
P.S. I still LOVE LOVE LOVE FASHION! And SEX AND THE CITY! AND CHOCOLATE!
